Insert Adsense Ads Within Posts On Blogger

Wednesday, July 27, 2011

Have you ever checked a way to monetize your blog with Google Adsense. It gave How to register and set up account with Google Adsense.

Now we'll see about entering codes Adsense ads. In this tutorial you will check how to insert the code to display Adsense ads inside your posts in Blogger.

Well, you know that Blogger itself offers an option to insert Adsense ad units through the gadget. If you click on the "generate revenue" will open a list of configuration options for automatic display of Adsense ads.

I particularly did not like this option because it does not give greater freedom to customize the way the ads will appear on the blog. Not to mention the fact that makes the blog somewhat "heavy" advertising.

I chose to insert the Adsense code directly into the HTML template.

Today I will teach you how I did it, so you can also use the same method if you want.

As you noted, I prefer to show ads inside the post, and only in individual page. That leaves my layout more "clean" (at least I think so).

Well, the first step to be followed is: Generate the code.

First of all, it should be noted that for you to proceed with this tutorial requires that you have your Adsense account approved and has already chosen and configured the ads you want to display on your blog and have copied the codes provided by Adsense.

That done, now it will be necessary parse (Convert) the code generated Adsense, because if you enter the code without parsing it, it will give error in the HTML, because Blogger does not accept the language of HTML code directly into the template.

Parsing the code:

Go to this page BlogCrowds and paste the generated code in the box, and click "Parse".

In the box below will be provided the code already parsed (converted), copy it and save!

Place ad below the post title:

This option allows you to display the ad below the title, before the start of the post content.

Go on the "Design" >> "Edit html">> Check “Expand Widget Templates “And look for:

HTML

<div class='post-body entry-content'>

And paste the code just above this section:

CODE

<b:if cond='data:blog.pageType == "item"'>
<div align='center'><br/>

<--- Parsed adsense code here --->

</ Div>
</ B: if>

At the site highlighted in green paste the code generated by Adsense you just parse the site.

In the code above I have stipulated that the ad appears only on internal pages, it will not appear on the home. If you want to appear on the homepage too, just delete the 1st and last line of code that are highlighted in red.

In part highlighted in blue, is the alignment of the ad code. In the case above I have stipulated that the ad is centered, but if you do not want to align the ad, just delete the section highlighted in blue.

If you want it to be on the left side, change "center" for "left". Right: change "center" with "right".

Place ad below the post content:

If you want you can insert ad once at the end of his article, before the footer.

Go on the "Design" >> "Edit html">> Check “Expand Widget Templates “and look for:

HTML

<div class='post-footer'>

And paste the code just above this section:

CODE

<b:if cond='data:blog.pageType == "item"'>
<div align='center'><br/>

<--- Parsed adsense code here --->

</ Div>
</ B: if>

Other options:

1) Now if you happen to have installed on your blog to display the resource Biography of the Author of the post at the bottom , paste the complete code (along with the parsed Adsense code) before the code snippet to display the author's biography.

2) If you use Hack "Read More" automatic Also can paste the AdSense code parsed at the very end of the code snippet of the post, which in this case would be just below:

HTML

<div style='clear: both;'/> <! - clear for photos floats ->
</ Div>

3) If you use Blogger's own Read More, You can paste the AdSense code parsed at the very end of the code snippet of the post, which in this case would be just below:

HTML

<b:if cond='data:post.hasJumpLink'>
<div class='jump-link'>
<a expr:href='data:post.url + "#more"'> <data:post.jumpText/> </ a>
</ Div>
</ B: if>

Entering 3 Link units side by side:

If you notice at the end of my posts, the display of ads in the form of block links. In my case, I inserted three blocks and they appear side by side, in the form of a table.

If you want to use the display of the link units in this same way, I will teach you how I did, then just choose the site that you want to place the ad link unit.

CODE

<b:if cond='data:blog.pageType == "item"'>
<div align='center'>

<--- Parsed adsense code here Block (1 links) --->

<td>

<--- Parsed adsense code here (link unit 2) --->

</ Td> <td>

<--- Parsed adsense code here Block (3 links) --->

</ Td>
</ Div>
</ B: if>

NOTE - Recalling that the maximum allowed by Adsense to display ads for blog banner ads are 3 + 3 ad link unit. Be careful not to exceed this limit!

Hide adsense ad static pages:

You can configure the code so that ads do not appear on static pages. To be honest I do not recommend this option, since the intention is to display ads to generate clicks, but woe is you.

The conditional elements to hide the static page is this:

<b:if cond='data:blog.pageType != "static_page"'>

The code should look like this:

CODE

<b:if cond='data:blog.pageType != "static_page"'>
<--- Parsed adsense code here --->
</ B: if>

How To Register and Setup Account With Google Adsense

Monday, July 25, 2011

If you are just starting to think about the possibility to monetize your blog, I suggest you start knowing Google Adsense.

Surely you've probably heard of this service.

I must confess that I am not an expert on the subject cream, but some time ago that I decided to join this service, and since then I go searching a bit more about it, because I realized that Adsense offers so many features that end up in confusing a little, especially for those who are "beginner" in the subject "monetization."

For this reason, I decided to treat about Adsense, and share with you some of what I learned about this service.

But I anticipate that there is no miracle formula to make money with blogs.

Using Google Adsense and thought something should be used as an extra income.

Gains will always depend on the quality of content you offer on your blog and especially the type of audience and number of unique visitors daily.

Just because you sign up for Adsense does not mean that your registration is approved. It is up to Google Adsense decide to approve or not.

Registering an account with Google Adsense:

Go to page Google Adsense and click "Join Now".

Enter an email from Gmail (can be the same email you use to access the Blogger dashboard, provided it is gmail)

Fill in all fields correctly. The filling is easy.

It is very important that you provide the correct payee name and address on your application, because after the approval of your AdSense account, when you reach the quota limit gains in your AdSense account, the system sends you Adsense automatically a Personal Identification Number (PIN) that must be entered in your account to keep it active. The PIN system is a form confirming your identity and address and can only be mailed.

If you have any questions regarding registration or other information about Adsense, you can also see the articles published in Official Blog Adsense's own.

On the record I also recommend reading the series: Adsense features.

After completing the registration, wait until you receive an email stating that your account was approved or not.

If approved, you should proceed to implementation phase of Adsense ads on your blog.

I suggest you watch this video which was developed by the staff of Google Adsense. In the video they teach to generate a block of ads to insert into your blog, as the guide how to add advanced reporting, and competitive ad filter.

Understanding How the service works

Before you think will win "a lot of money" with affiliate programs like Adsense, it is good that you understand a little better how this service.

About the ads:

The ads are offered for display in the form of text or images. You can choose to be displayed only text, or you can choose which banners are displayed only, or if you prefer, you can choose to display from both text and images (banners).

From what I understand about the criteria of the service, you can only display 3 banners and 3 link units per blog. (Someone correct me if I'm wrong!)

If you notice, I display two banners on my blog here: one on top of a post and the sidebar. How can the display of three, I still could display a banner over.

At the bottom of the post I chose to show three link units, thus already reached my limit display links.

You can not exceed the maximum views of Adsense ads, otherwise your account may be canceled.

Another very important point: you can not click on the ads you display on your blog, so do not be curious (a), otherwise your account may be canceled.

In short: if you do not follow all the rules set by Google Adsense, they can cancel your account permanently, so you no longer have access to or gains from the service.

More information, go to the article: Defining invalid clicks and click fraud

When choosing the type of ads you will display on your blog, take into account the balance between ads and the amount of unique content and quality of your blog. Check the type of published content that keeps your readers interested, so they come back. Thus, the more unique and relevant content you have published your blog, your ads will be more relevant.

Remember: plagiarists content always discovered by Adsense, and end up having their accounts canceled. Always Be original!

About gains:

Google Adsense will pay an amount for each click received on advertisements (ads) arising out of your blog. In some cases, it also pays for impressions page.

In other words, your ads must be clicked by your readers (but never for you, do not forget). If your blog has a very considerable number of page impressions daily, you can receive gains, even though few readers click on ads.

The amount paid for each click can vary greatly depending on the amount of advertisers who want to advertise on Google using specific keyword.

The ads are related to your content using keywords selected by the advertiser.

When you reach the minimum limit of $ 10 in your AdSense account, the system sends to you, automatically, a Personal Identification Number (PIN) which will be mailed.

PIN is through this that your payment will be released. The PIN serves as a sort of user identification.
If you want to know more about payments, I recommend reading the articles: under Payments category

Google Can Delete My Blog From Blogger / Blogspot?

Tuesday, July 19, 2011

The answer to the question of the title of this post is YES! But Google does not delete blogs indiscriminately and without good reason (do not be evil, remember?). If your blog has been erased / deleted / excluded, of course Google had any reason to do so.

Before we continue with the subject of the post, I want to say that blogs deleted by Google cannot be recovered, no matter how much the blog owner cry, kick, swear at or threaten.

For what reasons my blog can be deleted?

Basically, most cases of deleted blogs, takes place on account of not having respected the blogger Terms of Service for use Blogger or Blogger Content Policy. Reading both of you will already be well informed about what can and cannot do on Blogger, and what the punishments which you are bound to disobey the rules.
As a blogger who is very disrespectful content policies Blogger without even realizing it, I'll give a brief summary of them, if you know and understand well the political content or have to worry about reading this post:

Adult Content: you can post adult content easily, including explicit content, but must observe certain restrictions, such as the fact that your blog can not be aimed at making profit with this type of content. Some people understand this restriction as a ban on the monetization of blogs with adult content.

Child abuse: any blogs that link images, videos or material that is characterized as child abuse (child pornography, pedophilia, etc.) are immediately deleted once discovered. Google has a zero tolerance policy in such cases.

Incitement to hatred or intolerance / Content course / Violence: do not use your blog to spread ideas of hate or intolerance because of factors such as race, ethnicity, religion, disability, gender, age, veteran status or sexual orientation / gender identity. Do not use the blog to promote or incite violence, or use your blog to post content crude, whose sole purpose is to shock or offend others.

Copyright: here is one of the biggest reasons for deletion of the Google blogs. Many blogs offer links to download copyrighted content has been deleted recently. These are the famous blogs downloading or piracy. And Google does not help lead to the excuse that there are many people doing the same thing as you and posting illegal content.

Personal or confidential information and identity issues: it is forbidden to use Blogger to disclose personal or confidential information of others, such as credit card numbers. It is also forbidden to use Blogger to forge the identity of another person or body so that the purpose of such blogs is clearly to confuse visitors and undermine or denigrate the person or body.

Spam: never use Blogger to spam, such as creating blogs with the sole purpose of linking other sites to benefit them in search engines.

Malware and Virus: do not use your blog to spread malware and viruses. If you have problems related to viruses and malware on your blog, please read the article Blogger and malware redirects and try to resolve the problem or you can have your blog deleted.

Delete blogs offenders is necessary, since Google can not host blogs criminals, because this would harm the company image. Obviously, not all cases of deleted blogs and some just seem really are misguided by Google and bloggers and committed serious harm with its contents

If your blog was deleted and you cannot understand why, or if you think you're violating some rule of Blogger and worried that your blog is deleted, post your questions in Blogger Forum where there are many people willing to help.

Blog Deleted? Retrieve it easily!

Blogger released a new feature to its users. Now you can retrieve or recover a blog after a foreclosure - whether by accident or by desire of the owner. For it has no secret or amazing trick. Deleted blog appears on the control panel, with the option to restore or retrieve the blog easily. By clicking on this link, everything is back to normal.

This was one of the most frequent requests in the Blogger Help Group , and it seems that the Blogger team has listened to its users. This is great! We await further news.
